As a student I was using my intelligence the most. I did not use much intelligence in my 20's. Most of the jobs I did got me into a zone where I did not have to use much of my brains. The same pattern continued in my 30's. It is only when I became a writer & an entrepreneur when I really started to use my intelligence.
When you reflect deeply you are forced to think deeper. When you write it down it crystallises the learning for life & stores it in the memory. When you are forced to learn new things everyday you start to become more intelligent.
Actually what I realised is that intelligence is not a function of age but most of us stop learning & improving so it starts to decrease with age. It is only because when we keep doing the same thing for many years the brain stops to develop.
