Production at Saudi Arabia's petroleum refinery in Yanbu has dropped temporarily following a drone attack on sunday overnight claimed by the Iran-aligned Houthi group in Yemen. The refinery, referred to as Yasref, on the sea, will catch up on the shortfall from its stockpiles, the press agency said, citing a source at the Saudi energy ministry.
Yasref stands for Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Co., a JV between Saudi Aramco and China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec), in line with the refinery's website.
