IIT Delhi: 20 students got campus offers of over Rs 1 crore recently.
IIT Kharagpur maximum international salary offered was Rs 2.4 crore this year.
IIT Bombay received the highest domestic package of Rs 1.68 crore this year.
The average salaries at IIT Bombay is Rs 25 lakhs this year this is comparable to the average salaries at IIMs last year.
The salaries from the IIMs are still not out but
last year IIMA had the highest international salary package of Rs 1.32 crore & domestic salary at Rs 55 lakhs.
Early reports suggest one of the leading IIMs has seen a 50% drop in foreign offers & a 10% drop in overall offers. Recruiters are probably interested more in techies.
Techies have been in the highest demand in 2021 & probably the same will continue in 2022.
The MBA CAT exam applicants have dropped from 2.44 lakhs in 2019 to 2.31 lakhs in 2021.
The Supply side of the equation is also changing.
