My biggest career break came when the hiring manager referred me to the job. The initial screening process became easier because of this. This was also how I landed my first job.
I got another good career break when the recruiter called me for the job. The shortlisting was already done. The recruiter was rooting for me this helped me a lot clear the interviews. The recruiter even guided & prepared me for the interviews.
I did get a career break through directly applying for a job. This was probably the toughest of them all. I had to stand in queue for hours before my turn came. Interestingly even after getting the offer I did not join.
I also got an offer through campus. The process was easy once just had to show up for the interview. But the opportunity was not as good as I would have liked it to be.
What about you?
