I was in Barcelona for a week of Aug. month - when a forest fire almost engulfed a train. When I returned to Germany the next week, thousands of dead fish were found washed ashore along the Oder river on the German-Polish border. Hearing of such extreme events within a month makes me feel like we’re living through apocalyptic times. It’s a terrifying thought, but it’s also an everyday reality. Extreme weather events, floods, heatwaves, and droughts are becoming more and more commonplace. A recent report said that a quarter of the global workforce is vulnerable to climate change. It puts the onus on businesses to shake things up and move us towards a sustainable future. Top players have again pushed for renewable solutions in an open letter ahead of the 27th Conference of Parties (COP27). Renewable energy-based products are the need of the hour as automobile is one of the biggest carbon-emitting industries. As a result, investments in electric-vehicle makers are mounting. I’d be really happy to hear your ideas on tackling climate change and what businesses can do to help us move forward for sure!! after a PAUSE for a weeks time we at Mumbai Multimedia Studio enter the arena with a bang ....
