No doubt, Mamata ji is having more influence in her own State and that's why she's continuing her office for third time — consecutively (since 2011) by getting absolute majority in the recently held assembly elections.
Also, people in the country, though appreciated her great success in the recent elections, are not accepting her as a national leader and also not believing her Trinamool Congress is the only party to give equal fight, as against BJP (Modi Govt.) - at national level, without getting the support of the above-mentioned regional parties and national parties like Congress / Communist parties, in the next elections.
Mamata ji / Trinamool Congress hasn't registered any victory in any other States in the country — outside West Bengal.
Mamata ji is of the thinking, after her party's recent victory in WB that TMC is the only party, raising voice as against BJP Modi Govt.
In Trinamool Congress, no one knows other leaders, other than Mamata ji
TMC and its principles / policies are not known outside WB ie. at national level
Mamata ji also thinks that Congress has not been effectively functioning, as against Modi Govt., in the capacity of opposition.
And hence Mamata ji is now trying to project her party TMC as a strong opposition in the parliament — by replacing Congress — with the support of other opposition parties which are anti-BJP and that’s why she’s made visits to Delhi / Mumbai etc. recently.
To conclude, it will be doubtful whether all the opposition parties will come forward and support Mamata ji, after knowing her adamant character and her ruling in the State with arrogance / politics with violence, for her goal of removing BJP / PM Modi from the power because definitely there’ll be difference of opinions among the opposition parties / party leaders, in accepting Mamata ji as the common Opposition Leader — unanimously.
