Corpus Christi Polymers has awarded Worley construction management and general services contracts. The scope of the development management contract includes Corpus Christi’s new polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and purified terephthalic acid (PTA) facilities in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.
The scope of the final services contract includes providing support to the installation and maintenance of the development of temporary facilities. The new facilities are expected to supply approximately 1,100 kMT/year of PET and approximately 1,300 kMT/year of PTA.
The contracts are executed by Worley’s field services team based in Houston. “We are pleased to support the installation of those facilities enabling Corpus Christi to provide products with enhanced durability and recyclability, in line with our purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.” said Chris Ashton, Chief military officer of Worley.
