Shahrukh Khan payed tribute to late Lata Mangeshkar. He pay homage by both Hindu and Muslim custom. When he was praying for Muslim custom, after pronouncing Holy Quran’s verse, he blow to heavenly body of Lata Mangeshar. It was a wish or Duaa for the peace of departed soul. When Shahrukh Khan blow, some people could not understand it and they thought that Shahrukh Khan spit over dead body of Lata Mangeshkar.
It started to trending on twitter and Instagram. It is matter of common sense, how anyone dare to do any dirty things in presence of thousands people attended at the Funeral. Shahrukh Khan is very responsible person and cannot even thing to do such activities. He honored a lot to Lata Mangeshkar. He did not spit and blow was just Duwa or wish for the peace for the departed soul.
Spitting or no spitting,blowing or no blowing is immaterial! Point is
• Did he take her family approval?
• If no,this attempt to normalize Islamic culture with non believers must be resisted! If Hindu celeb sprinkling GangaJal on a devout deceased Muslim be acceptable? Would any Muslim actor's family consider a Hindu Brahmin actor (none having spine in industry) chanting holy Shlok on the dead-body?
If he wanted, he also would have put flower & bow his head with folded hands & move on like others (Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar did). No one would have say anything. Only the rites of the dead person should be performed on the funeral and not their own. If you resist Hindu culture,you have no business imposing yours least of all on such somber occasion & without family approval!
Will Muslims agree to a Hindu celeb going to a Janaaja of a renowned Muslim artist & sprinkling GangaJal on the taboot??
