KVIC encourages everyone to become self employed under PMEGP - It's a flagship programme of KVIC for self employment.
Govt is providing training, loans, subsidies for entrepreneurs. You can setup both service or manufacturing units upto 50 lakhs. The govt is giving a subsidy of upto 35%. No collateral is required for these loans.
The entrepreneur only has to pay 10% of entire project cost from his/her side.
