This is in response to my post in FB regards his flee from the Country...No body knows for sure whether Param Bir Singh fled India. The rumours attributing to intelligence say that he has left for Russia or Hungary. No body identifies whose intelligence has brought this information to fore. It has not been established yet that he is no more in the country.
Param Bir was avoiding legal and administrative proceedings. None of the authorities has thought it fit to enforce his attendance. None has taken steps to declare him an absconder even though he is regularly absconding from various proceedings. Thane Police has remained content by merely issuing a Look Out Circular. Whether that LOC has reached all the departure points or not, no body knows. Being a career policeman, he may be well aware how to evade LOC. He may be having support from within too.
Even if he has left Indian shores, it’s easy to bring him back given the plethora of criminal cases against him.
Incidentally, Anil Deshmukh, the former Home Minister of Maharashtra is also avoiding summons of ED and not attending scheduled hearings. Multiple raids are futile to trace him. No body knows where is he. Param Bir raised his voice against him alleging corruption. The state government felt bad about it.
Now both being invisible becomes a mystery. Have they sorted out their differences and are absconding till things cool down? Or, is someone eliminated? Or, one of them has fled?
