The many times life has thrown me into troubled waters I have responded in all these ways.
Shock or disbelief was probably my first response most times. At times I went into denial not willing to accept what was happening.
Fight or flight was another response I had. Fighting with the person who caused it or with the situation that caused it. Flight was taking the easy way out, it worked sometimes too, the easy ways can sometimes get you out of the woods faster, especially for someone who tries to fight it out most of the times.
Many times I would get angry & feel helpless. I never knew both are the same things.
