No, I'll not say that I myself confirm that what I am going to write is 100% accurate because neither me and nor any other person exists who has witness a life after death.
But then as per Hindu religion, specifically as per Garun Puran, there are some religious beliefs which I am going to highlight here.
Again before proceeding further let me clear you all that I am not going to spread myths via this answer.
You may belong to any religion but I am sure once you finish reading this content most of you will agree to the points I am going to narrate.
Every one who is born, since starting is always busy in accumulating as much as possible so that they can survive.
But till how long one can survive and what will happen eventually after death? No one wants to find the answer of this question.

Yes you do have it and so does everyone else has. And the ones who have seen others dying under various situations, knows it clearly that you will leave everything and walk alone bare hand and bare foot.
Though everyone was born naked and empty handed, yet everyone strives to attain as much as wealth, health and relationships and knowledge to survive.
But what we don't learn is attain WISDOM.
The only thing a human being knows after they are born is to suck a nipple and fetch milk out of those breast to feed their hunger.
Rest of the things and knowledge are attained slowly and steadily in the journey of life.
I don't want this answer sound too boring and lengthy so let me start bringing some of the facts related to death.
Since ages we have heard that soul is immortal and body is mortal. And when the life span of a human in the physical form is over the soul leaves the body and walks away defining the death of the body in the physical form.
Spirituality teach us that “I” means my soul and not my physical being.
I mean when my heart is broken, that pain is not physically, rather it's emotional pain. So is emotion a form of my physical being? No and Never.
But we do cry when the body is no more a living being. But if we know that it's my soul who is the real “I”, then why would someone cry if one day I am dead physically.
The basic reason is we are all here in the physical form and not in the soul form. That means when we are unable to touch a person and see them performing all the basic things a human being in physical form can do, then we cry, because we miss their daily routine in front of our eyes. We can't even hug them and that hurts the most.
But as per the religious beliefs or life after death the real you or me are never dead. I am referring to the SOUL here.
So as per religious beliefs and Garun Puran, there are lot of things explaned in detail but I am only going to pin point some of the things which me and most of you might have experienced and have read about in real life.
It's said when a persons death is near they start dreaming or feeling some bad vibes before couple of days from the actual time of their death.
Their are 9 exit points for a soul to exit out of a body.
Two ears, two eyes, two nose holes, one mouth, two secretion holes.
It is said when the soul departs through eyes, the eyes pops out during death.
Through ears, nose you see some mucous.
Through mouth, you will see a open mouth/vomit.
When the soul departs through secretion holes, either you have see their shit or piss.
As per Hindu religion, we say to light up diya for ten days and then perform a food ceremony on 13th day.
It's said that the soul remains with us only and the reason behind lighting up the diya for next days is that the soul might get ready to a form a new body.
When you light up a diya each day, a body part is formed.
Another important thing is if your karma is bad you will suffer (your soul) else good things will happen with you.
For example if you have never donated a slipper, post death you will not get a slipper during your travel to the destination.
If you have never donated clothes, you will travel all nude.
If someone has never donated anything but yet survived successfully, by performing good deeds and helping humanity in any form or have spend their life by taking god's name even though the soul deserve to be treated with utmost care.
That's why it's advised to everyone to treat each and every human being with humanity. Spread love and not hatred.
Well it's a broader topic about the journey of a soul and lot of things you have heard about death and soul departure and life after death. Like you might have heard some one comes to pick your soul and other things. But this answer was not about proving who is right and who is wrong and other things about your karma as I have stated above. You may belong to any religion you follow. And whether or not in your custom you may not be lighting up a diya. But I am dead sure you might have experienced the first point. But then you might not have been able to relate or feel those things I have mentioned in the first point so closely until now. I have seen many of these things mentioned in my “first point and sub-points" and so I can say if these things are written in holy books in relation to the soul departure and life after death phase, then definitely I and the YOU will never die. And their also exists a soul. Scientifically it has also been proven that their is a difference in body weight of a living vs dead human. 21 grams of body weight was eventually found less of a dead body post death. So yeah this was the harsh truth I learnt and many others when I came across some of the concept from that book. I was actually listening to some one and I myself felt quite shocked after listening him. I know this was a long answer so sorry for that. I am not a spiritual preacher or leader. But read below what I have to say. Everyone saw apple falling on the ground. But only Newton forced his thinking intially and then other scientists to know why that apple only fall on the ground and they developed the concept of gravitational force. Most of the people in the world might have seen the victims suffering through the one of the sub points stated under first point during death. Their should be some reason why such things happen during death time. Science also says there is a difference in body weight post death. That means their is some co-relation with the sub points mentioned in first point and this reduced body weight. So regarding your concerns that let it be proved scientifically, so that is something, I believe science will never be able to prove the co-relation I have stated above. But yes we can't even avoid this co-relation completely. Because science can't even answer those explanation that does anything happens when our elders bless us at our important life events.
