As the news reports says, Naqvi is also a potential candidate in the Vice Presidential election. Apart from him, Arif Mohammad Khan, Capt. Amarinder Singh etc are also in the list.
Naqvi is a loyal cadre of the BJP. He has never ditched the party. Other people have served in the other parties when they were in power.
May be, the BJP may have some other candidate in its mind.
They will open it at the right time. By the time, they must have convinced all the stake-holders.
