Progress in your career can be determined by speed, magnitude, direction & money.
Speed determines how fast you progress in your career. Are you achieving your career goals fast. It is a function of time. Maybe you are able to achieve your goal but the progress is much slower than expected.
Magnitude determines how much you are able to achieve from what you planned. It is a function of magnitude. Maybe you are able to achieve one out of your 10 goals.
Direction is probably most important, it can help improve both speed & magnitude. Making the right career choices is important.
The last factor is money. Generally it will be a function of the above three. But it is common to find everything going good except money.
