I do have a small tradition for the last week of the year. I revisit the year, month by month, and note the most meaningful things—personal or professional. It’s like an annual report for me at our Studio. Some things rarely change. Like little to no progress on the previous new year’s resolution and a renewed commitment to making the next one count. But, broadly, 2022 has been a happy year for me. After all, the human tendency is to remember the good more often than the bad. For me, what stood out this year was my work. Last year, I was just three years into business journalism, digital marketing, VFX animation —less confident, curious, and a bit naive. So, it’s a joy to see the stories, articles, press release at THE MMS published across formats, and the role I played. Coming back to The Mumbai Multimedia Studio, we opened the week with stories based on current scenario in political motivation, world crisis, oil prices, business news update, complaint and compliance.... That’s the wrap for the week. And also the year. Behind every The Mumbai Multimedia Studio's story or an blogs, there is tons of research, conversations, brainstorming, and, of course, arguments. That takes a toll. As an organisation, we like to take time off during the last week of the year to recharge and come back with stronger ideas. But we will be publishing year-enders—the best of 2022—throughout the next week. I hope you too get a chance to take a break. Be kind to yourselves and have a lovely new year. Also, Merry Christmas!
