"Withdraw list of governor appointed MLC's!"; Shinde shocks Thackeray again
The game of politics that has been occurring for the past two months remains happening in the state of Maharashtra. Eknath Shinde, who shocked Shiv Sena and Uddhav Thackeray by rebelling, continues to administer more shocks. Now Shinde has given another blow by demanding the withdrawal of the list of Governor-appointed candidates sent by the previously Thackeray government.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had sent the list of candidates appointed by the Governor within thelegislature. But Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has now written to the Governor to demand cancellation of this list. There has been a change of power within the state. Therefore, Chief Minister Shinde has said that he will now give new names to the seats appointed by the Governor.
Therefore, the Chief Minister has demanded Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari to cancel the old list of names. During the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had sent an inventory of candidates appointed by the Governor for 12 seats in the general assembly in 2020. But the governor didn't approve this list. Therefore, 12 seats within the general assembly are now vacant. Shinde's government is now visiting suggest new names for these seats.
