Honor can never be forced or implemented. Period. If you try to do that, it'll be confronting with the best amount of resistance you may ever seen within the world. Respect is simply a results of willingness, kindness and your behavior.

Blasphemy is presently nowadays some extent of focus within the Islamic world following beheading of a French history teacher for showing caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) President Emmanuel Macron has opposed it within the strongest possible terms calling it a radical Islamist terrorism. And since then, his response has resulted in an exceedingly major outrage within the Islamic world — with Turkey and Pakistan showing interest group in it, Ironically, these nations have hardly uttered one word against the brutal murder of Samuel P., but in no time are criticizing statements of Macron in worst possible ways. Nothing wrong therewith. But it only shows how weak and double faced their position is with reference to the novel extremism.

France has the most important number of Muslims within the Western World. A 2017 Pew Research report estimates the Muslim population of France to be 5,760,999 or 8.8% of the full population.

A large a part of it, is immigrants. Where as quite 100 thousand of those are converts from other faiths. All because of the Liberal values. the identical Liberalism, during which France takes pride in — legalizes blasphemy and considers it a crucial pillar of freedom of speech. Now give me one good reason why should France not take a firm stand when it’s own citizens are being killed for practicing their birth right? And seriously speaking, opposition from Turkey and Pakistan on this matter sounds rubbish and half-witted to me. it's just beyond my ability to fathom.

I totally understand that Prophet’s PBUH has honor and respect is a very important and sensitive topic in Islamic faith. it's something Muslims cannot compromise with. But thereupon being said, the way Muslim define term “respect or honor” could be a bit problematic and appear impractical to me.

For a flash, have a glance at how Cambridge Dictionary defines Blasphemy:

Now since blasphemy means insulting God or religion, banning blasphemy would mean banning insult to God or religion. And this may also mean coercing people to respect God and Religion. And after you force or coerce someone to respect something, does it remain respect anymore? Surely if you're shoving your believes on someone, it isn’t respect anymore, it‘s fear. Simple, isn’t is?

This is the fundamental problem with Blasphemy Laws, and Muslim nations must understand and address it. Honor can never be forced or implemented. Period. If you try todo that, it'll be meet with the best amount of resistance you may ever see within the world. Respect is simply a results of willingness, kindness and your behavior.

I’m curious to grasp what is going to these nations and their supporters will gain by criticizing Macron and France? France isn't certain to respect anyone, and why will it anyway? And after all, if you are trying and force someone, it'll push them as remote from respecting your faith because it could possibly get. People will only respect your faith if they believe your faith is absolutely worth that respect, and you wish to prove it. When someone insults your faith and it offends you then the most effective you'll do is request him/her to not, and in rest scenarios, ignore. Revengeful feelings, inquiring for a ban and extremism won't only make matters worse for you but also will lead to widespread Islamophobia you'll have ever imagined.

On side note: I do agree that Islamophobic attacks on Muslims is indeed an enormous issue in France that's largely been ignored.
