Do you think the Congress government can be formed if Rahul Gandhi is not the face of Congress?

It's little complicated. Let me explain the query with Dairy Milk.

When Dairy Milk entered Indian market they quickly reached saturation. That is they targeted children like every other chocolate brand and won the market. However, they saw no growth beyond that. Then they replaced sweets with Dairy Milk on Indian festivals.

Later, Brands they started targeting the Indian Adults.

As a result, company saw exponential growth and became the top company. In the whole story, did Dairy Milk change their product? No they didn't.

Dairy Milk didn't create a product for the market, they created a market for their product.

BJP's journey is also similar. When they made a party they brought Hinduism and Nationalism. They gained only a small portion of voter base. However, they did not change their Nationalism and Hinduism ideology. They changed entire country's emotion and replaced Pseudo secularism with Hinduism and Nationalism.

Now, some might not believe. Let me give a recent example.

Ekta Kapoor insulted army in her web series. (check my old earlier blogs on this https://www.blogger.com/blog/post/edit/2303996942468249166/357572112041728242). It became a national news, everyone criticized her. However, “Main Hoon Na” released in UPA regime showed a Hindu Terrorist. No one said anything, the movie was super hit. If the same movie were released today, people would boycott it.

Did you see? The climate has changed.

In this climate, it doesn't matter who is the face of congress. Nothing is going to work unless congress embraces nationalism.
