On the occasion of Eid al Fitr, We at Mumbai Multimedia Studio revel into the joy of the festivity as brands pour in Eid creatives socially. ... Today the whole world is greeting each other with Ramadan Eid ... Starting point of content creation is experience: Shaykh Saqib Iqbal Hh delivered a powerful and practical message for the Ummah and presented guidelines of how to maintain the passion and energy of Ramadan throughout the rest of the year as well as informing us all of how to use the strength from the past month of training to positively affect our future lives, our communities and the world.
Moving on, the Shaykh discussed the practical methods of combating satan who is hungry and eager to lead us astray after being shackled and locked up during the month of Ramadan. In addition to this, the Shaykh aided us by providing workable techniques for fighting our desires, surfing the urge and untying the knots tied by satan on the believers especially on Eid day.
Palestine was given special significance in the Shaykhs discourse for we were told to learn and study about our Muslim heritage, the blessed land of Al Quds, the sociodemographic milieu of the land, the history of oppression of the Palestinian people at the hand of the Jews and much more. The Shaykh said it is unfortunate that many Muslims have no knowledge of the theological and geographical reasons for the conflict between Palestine and Israel. Let alone our children and the youth of the Ummah, the parents and older generations do not know the basic reasons behind the atrocities occurring in the Palestinian lands.
Shaykh Saqib related his own personal experiences and gave a practical solution for our Muslim brothers and sisters who are unfortunately lacking the basic knowledge of such matters and do not know what the Dome of the Rock is, the history of the temple of Solomon, the claim of the Yahood and Islamic perspective regarding Masjid al Aqsa and why the Jews are so desperate to conquer these lands??? Still a misery!!!!
To show solidarity with the Palestinians on this joyous occasion of Eid and to educate ourselves, the Shaykh mentioned that we should dedicate some quality time on this blessed occasion to create awareness of the struggles of the Palestinian people and to pray for their protection. As Muslims we need to learn about the history of Palestine and Israel's illegal occupation of its land as well as understanding the Balfour declaration of 1917, what actually happened in 1948, how circumstances changed in 1967 and the role that the UN played in this and what role the other Muslim's nation can potentially play in the future.
In the heart-warming, joyous and inspirational atmosphere of Kanz ul Huda’s Eid celebration, the sounds of melodious Arabic and English nasheeds accompanied by the beating of the duff were heard and affected the hearts of all those present. The smiling faces and the laughter of children and elders alike was a touching spectacle to witness as everyone enjoyed ice cream, gulaab jamun, Lahori breakfast comprising of halwa, puri and channeh with crisps and sweet bags for children. Alongside such treats, drinks were distributed and handmade Eid Mubarak biscuits were given out to the delight of all those present.
As we left with our hearts filled with happiness, our faith strengthened and with sincere concern for the Ummah in our minds, we pray that Allah Almighty blesses Shaykh Saqib Iqbal and all the brothers and sisters of Kanz ul Huda with the ability to continue this initiative for years to come and to aid them in reviving the true essence of Eid in the beautiful environment and atmosphere of Kanz ul Huda - the darbar of Shaykh......
