We at Mumbai Multimedia Studio as usual on the basis of current scenario and pandemic crisis looming on our nation we request and appeal to Government of India that the Coronavirus doesn’t discriminate between people so why is that the government allowing different prices for the identical vaccine? during a pandemic, people’s health should be a priority and not profit! Now Covishield will cost 4 times more for personal & private hospitals. A majority folks Indians will find yourself paying a far higher price for the identical vaccine that's being provided by the central government to 30 crore people free. We urge all Indian's Bharti's to unite and request with an appeal the govt.to possess a one-nation-one-price policy. Setting one price will make sure the vaccine remains affordable to each citizen, and help us fight COVID-19.
#OneNationOnePrice: Standardize COVID Vaccine Price so Every Indian Can Afford It.....
I was really proud of the government’s decision to open up the vaccination drive to 18 to 45-year olds, the foremost economically active section of our population. But its announcement of giving vaccine manufacturers a freedom at setting the value of those vaccines is extremely worrying.

As a typical citizen and a consumer rights professional, i feel this move is unfair to the typical citizen. If the govt doesn’t fix the worth of the vaccines or set a limit, a majority of Indians who don’t are available in the 30 crore population (which is getting the vaccine from the govt. for free), will must pay a substantially higher price for the identical vaccine. this may exclude crores of individuals from voluntarily coming forward to urge vaccinated.
Once again we are appealing the Govt. of India to possess a one-nation-one-price policy.
If we don’t demand a change in pricing, there'll be havoc & panic due to money matters, as we are suffering a lot due to slowdown lockdown and shutdown of our enterprises. As we know, the media has been reporting that plenty of states are complaining of a vaccine shortage - because the demand is high, supply is low, this can give manufacturers the whip hand. Individual state governments’ will face an enormous financial burden to obtain the vaccines and experts warn this can find yourself getting passed on to us, the common citizens. If the Coronavirus doesn’t discriminate with whom it targets, then why is that the government with differential pricing?
Following the government’s announcement, Serum Institute of India, which produces the Covishield vaccine, just declared and revised its prices:
Rs 400 per dose for the centre and state governments for fresh orders -Rs 600 per dose for personal hospitals.
In a pandemic crisis, people’s health should be a priority and not profit or so! I urge the Govt. to reconsider, as only it can rectify and remedy true immediately as we now have the second highest number of reported COVID-19 cases within the world and therefore the fourth highest number of deaths. As of 24th April 2021, there are approximately 300,000 new cases per day and a minimum of 1,200 people have died day by day thanks to the fatal disease. The Govt of India to line a universal price for the COVID vaccine in India so every Indian can afford it.
Jai Hind! Jai Maharashtra! Jai hoo Mumbaikars ......
