[Ration Card] Adding family member/s in your card is become more easy then before - We had done too!

For adding or deleting member name from the ration card - We at Mumbai Multimedia Studio bring you a guidelines for our audiences and readers, a easy step to follow with governmental department. Here’s step by step guide to feature new member in card. Ration Card holder should approach circle office or GRC centres to feature or delete name in card. .

Please head to the respective office.

Applicant shall obtain the shape from the respective office (please obtain the shape if required) Or a written/electronically typed application on A4 plain sheet as advised shall be used OR use the subsequent link for form.

Please submit the finished application together with required documents to the respective authority.

Authorities after checking the submitted application together with attached documents will make entries and supply you record number for reference.


Keep it safe for future reference.

This application are going to be forwarded to the concerned Ward/ Gram Panchayat official for verification. The concerned official visits the house of the applicant for verification and approves the request, if the applicant is found eligible.


The applicant is informed through SMS at various stages i.e., Advance intimation about date of visit of the official to his place of residence for verification of his application, Approval/Rejection of his application.

After ground level verification identity card are going to be issued in 30 Days or as notified by the department..

Eligibility

  • A valid card holder.

  • The applicant and his/her family must be Indian citizens and may be resident of the state.

  • The applicant or his members of the family must not possess any family card in any State in India (If that they had one, it's to be withdrawn).

  • The applicant and members of the family must be close relatives.

  • New born above 5 years

  • Addition of member name after marriage

  • Fees

  • Fee information are often obtained directly from the department office while applying.

  • Validity

  • Validity remains same

  • Usually Family card is valid for lifetime and can be renewed in 5 years or supported announcement

  • How to add a reputation on the identity card

  • To add a reputation to your identity card, you may need to get a Consumer Addition form from a Circle Office. together with the shape, you'll also need the subsequent documents..

Proof of residence

Surrender or Deletion Certificate regarding your existing or previous identity card, if required

In case you are doing not have a legitimate proof of residence, the Circle FSO will conduct inquiries in your neighbourhood. He or she's going to go round the area and record the statements of any two independent witnesses regarding your residence. After submission of the appliance and also the required supporting documents, the new card will arrive in around 15 days.


Son or Daughter:

You may visit a close-by e-Seva Kendra and ask them to incorporate the name of your son or daughter.

You will need to fill an Inclusion form and fasten a replica of the child’s credential for verification.

Submit the appliance and therefore the documents at the ration office, together with the ID proof of the fogeys and your original card.

Once the verification process is complete, your child’s name are going to be added to your identity card.

The updated identity card are dispatched to your residential address within two or three weeks.


Wife or Husband:

When adding your spouse’s name to the identity card, you may have to take a replica of their ID proof, credentials, and marriage certificate.

Also, just in case you're a component of your parent’s card, you must delete your name there, before adding your name to a different card.

You may attach a replica of your duly filled Deletion form together with your documents and Inclusion form, and submit at the closest ration office.
