The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign a part of the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' event on the eve of India's legal holiday (Independence Day) will be celebrated on Monday, 15 August 2022. This marks 75 years of India's independence from British rule out 1947.



People who have an interest in joining the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign must visit the official website – harghartiranga.com – and follow the steps given at the top of this text to register and acquire featured on the portal. they'll also receive a certificate of participation.


India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has requested all the people of India to hoist the Tri colour in their homes as an element of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative (every house should hoist the tricolour flag). Besides, the prime minister also urged people to alter the display pictures of their social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to the Tiranga, The tricolour.


The Indian Flag, symbol of national pride for the whole nation. To further honour our flag, the Hon'ble Home Minister who oversees all efforts under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav has approved the program of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. It envisages inspiring Indians everywhere to hoist the allegory at their home.



Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation within the 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of non-public connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building, the concept behind the initiative is to invoke the sensation of patriotism within the hearts of the people and promote awareness about our Flag.


All Indian State governments called to promote the Har Ghar Tiranga (tricolour at every door) programme through advertisements; Chief Ministers called to publicise the identical through all the channels of Media's - The Mumbai Multimedia Studio is one of them. The Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a virtual meeting with chief ministers of all States to debate the hoisting of tricolour at 20 crore homes run up to 75-years of Independence.


A statement by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said the most objective of the program is that the allegory should be flown all told homes from August 13-15 through public participation, and government and personal establishments will be involved during this effort.
