Ever seen the Taliban seek control of whole Country of Afghanistan, we at www.multimediastudio.net keeps updating on the scene ups and down by blogs, articles and news of our forum and blogs column continuously as it is the hot current viral topics to cover up. Taliban doing this was unthinkable few years ago. There are also reports of Taliban going to hospitals and saying female Doctors and Nurses can work as usual.

Now this may all be a ruse and charm offensive until all foreign troops leave Afghanistan and then they revert to their old barbaric ways. We are also seeing some reports from parts of Afghanistan where women are not allowed to go to schools.
However I think there's some remote possibility that Taliban might be a little bit moderate than before. I don't think Taliban will accept 2004 Afghan constitution as they are against democracy but they may not be as barbaric like before as well. Taliban will declare Islamic emirate of Afghanistan for sure but they may try to emulate Iran or Saudi Arabia in terms of women's rights like allow women to get educated, make hijab mandatory but not Burqa, don't ban all movies and music, bring non pasthuns in the government among others.
Why would they wanna do that?? To get more international recognition and possibly foreign aid as well and also not create huge discontent within their population especially among women and minorities. This also helps for economic growth.
This all may also depend on who gets upperhand in Taliban, Is it gonna be pragmatists who want moderation to get international recognition and aid or the old school hard-core Islamists.
Now, this is the leadership of Taliban and there are many others as well. I'm sure there will be serious discussions among them on what type of system they want in Afghanistan and how much more barbaric they will be.
Lastly, I think Taliban will get recognition from some Countries like Pakistan, China, Russia and Iran, also Saudis and Turkey even if they go back to their horrific ways because all these Countries don't care about human rights. Some others may recognize Taliban if they become a bit moderate esp. Muslim Countries. I just cannot see US and the west recognizing Taliban as legitimate government of Afghanistan even if Taliban becomes more moderate and has a political system akin to Saudi Arabia or Iran. Let's wait and see.
