Gadkari isn't a 'YES SIR' for Modi-Shah-Nadda (Tridev). During a speech that he gave recently, he had remarked how he sometimes seems like quitting the politics because it's disintegrated into politics for power nowadays and isn't a service to society anymore. The announcement of BJP’s parliamentary board was a shocker. BJP failed to stay loyal to its policy of retiring old leaders when it came to Yediyurappa as Karnataka elections are on the horizon already and he's a giant lingayat leader. Nitin Gadkari, who is one amongstthe best ministers in Modi cabinet was dropped together with Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

People are speculating that Gadkari was becoming a rival to Narendra Modi and hence his wings are being clipped??? I afflict this theory, Gadkari would well be a controversy for Amit Shah than Modi because he may bean enormous leader, well respected, popular and capable to require the reins of BJP after Modi. Therefore, one among the explanation may be Shah’s hegemony over top command of the party and its role in dropping Gadkari.

It is not that big a problem to be honest, Gadkari wouldn't be kept removed from the ministry he's working so well for after the 2024 elections like some people are commenting, many mass leaders like Yogi, Hemanta Sharma and Fadnavis don't seem to bea component of the board and still they hold important responsibilities. and everybody including opposition parties recognize Gadkari’s responsible attitude towards his work. Hence, it's also alittle possibility that Modi can be considering another responsibility for Gadkari, which we are going to understand in coming few months.

Another reason for Gadkari’s decreasing ‘power’ in BJP may well be rise of Devendra Fadnavis. BJP had been considering rewarding Fadnavis for his brilliant role in bringing down Thackeray government (constituting Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP) in Maharashtra so still taking the second-in-command seat behind Eknath Shinde when ordered by the party supreme headquarters. He had also worked diligently for the party during Bihar elections and his rising popularity in Maharashtra is that the biggest reason Fadnavis was promoted to BJP’s Central Election Committee. And a national party as vast as BJP has to maintain ‘diversity’ when it involves promoting its members. Fadnavis resembles Gadkari on such a lot of levels- hailing from Vidarbha region (Nagpur), close ties with RSS, image of being an industrious leader, having good political intelligence. Whereas, Fadnavis has three more advantages- emerging mass appeal, he isn’t viewed as a threat to Shah, and is far younger. Hence, this action of BJP will be attributed to the present reason also, Fadnavis fitting within the slot of Gadkari....
