This powerful quote by American radio host Ira Glass is how I began a talk on storytelling for an online community I’m part of.

Now, I’m not a storytelling expert. But I happen to work with an organisation that is. And that helps. Everything I spoke about in that session was inspired by either the wonderful stories our writers tell every day or the brilliant narratives I happen to come across in conversations with my team.

Whether you’re a writer, editor, podcast producer, marketer, product manager or engineer. There’s no other way. It’s probably one of my favourite things about working here. We’re an organisation of storytellers, and we’re obsessed with storytelling (our Slack channels are proof).
