I always thought that if you network with successful people you will get more opportunities. But the strange reality is that most job & business opportunities do not come from your direct first connections. In fact most of the opportunities come from 4th degree connections or from out of your network.
When I started to help people who were struggling I did not know that it was the most powerful way to network. Whatever you give will always come back in some form & many times more. It also helps you build your brand.
Giving is the secret to networking. It is more powerful than asking. Giving without the expectation of getting is the purest form of networking.
