AMOR FATI in Latin means "Love of one's Fate"
When I read this it made me think & ask myself.
Do I love my fate including my suffering?
Strangely I used to run away from my suffering & pain, leave alone accept it, which is why suffering & pain remained in my life for a long time. Whatever you resist persists.
If the pain & suffering was too much, I would give up & break from inside. I went through a nervous breakdown. I was weak from inside.
As I started to get stronger I started to fight pain & suffering. However this did not help either. When the pain becomes unbearable we break again.
Now I enjoy my pain & suffering, you may say I am a sadist but isn't pain & suffering an integral part of our lives. So why not enjoy it.
When I coach people I realize most of those who are struggling are those who are unable to accept pain & suffering leave alone enjoy it.
If you accept pain & suffering, it lessens the pain & suffering.
If you enjoy pain & suffering you rise above it & it vanishes completely. The universe realises it is not a challenge for you anymore hence it removes it from your life.
There are others who take this to the next level by putting themselves through pain & suffering so that they get stronger from inside.
I have seen many people who use pain & suffering to fuel themselves to do better.
Maybe its time to enjoy pain & suffering.
