Bill Gates explains why his daughter cannot marry a pauper.
Couple of years ago I attended a conference within the US on Investment and Finance. one in all the speakers was enterpriser and within the Q&A phase, I asked an issue that had everyone laughing.
If he, one among the richest men within the world, could accept his daughter marrying a poor or modest man?
Bill replied:
First of all, understand that being rich doesn't suggest having a checking account with lots of cash.
Wealth is first the power to make wealth.
Example: Someone who wins money from a lottery or playing a game. Even winning 100 million isn'ta fashionable man, he's a have-not with lots of cash. this is often why 90% of lottery millionaires are poor again after 5 years.
You also have rich folks that don't have any money. Example: most entrepreneurs.
They are already on the trail to wealth, whether or not they do not have money, because they're developing their financial intelligence which is wealth.
What is the difference between rich and poor?
If you see a young man who decides to graduate, learn new things, constantly trying to higher himself, know that he's a fashionable man.
If you see a youth who thinks the matter is that the state and believes the rich are all thieves and that they constantly criticize, just know that he's a pauper.
The rich believe they only need information and training to induce started, the poor believe others should give them money to induce started.
In conclusion, once I say my daughter won't marry a pauper, I'm not talking about money. I'm talking about this man’s ability to form wealth. compassionate what I'm visiting say but most criminals are poor. once they are ahead of cash they lose their mind, that's why they steal, creep, sneak etc.
To them it is a grace because they do not know the way they may make money for themselves.
One day a bank custodian found a bag filled with money, took it and handed it over to the manager of the bank.
People called this man an idiot, but truly the person was just a chic man who had no money.
1 year later the bank offer him a receptionist position, 3 years later he's guilty of customer and 10 years later he manages the regional management of that bank. Now he manages many employees and his annual bonuses exceed what he could have stolen.
