The first way is thinking or living in the problem. The problem slowly starts to get bigger than it actually is. We also start experiencing or living in the problem more. Overthinking creates more problems. Living in the problem everyday makes us believe that the problem is real. I got stuck here for many years.
Fighting the problem is a response most of us do.
This is the response of a young and energetic mind which thinks he/she can solve the problem by fighting it. I got stuck here for many years too. Whatever we resist persists. The harder we fight the more the problem grows & it takes our mind space.
Another response is running away from the problem. It is many times considered a weak or lazy response.
But this can sometimes save your life when nothing else is working. I once ran away from a city because the memories were slowly haunting me. It worked.
Rising above the problem is the most powerful way. When we rise above the problem, it become smaller both mentally & physically. It changes the perspective completely. So how does one rise up above problems?
The easiest way is to take the higher ground. Do something which is the exact opposite of what you are currently doing or do something you are fearful of. Letting go or walking away is a simple & powerful way too. If you are fighting it, start accepting it instead. If you are living in the problem, start disconnecting from it. If you are running away start facing it.
What about you?
Where are you getting stuck?
