1. When you were laughed at 2. When no one heard you 3. When you struggled/failed 4. When someone troubled you
Childhood makes us who we are today as adults. Some memories remain forever especially the bad memories.
I had some of these bad memories that troubled me for long.
When you are laughed at, you start to think that you are not good enough. What you think becomes reality. As you grow up you begin to think people will still laugh at you.
When your family or friends did not listen to you, you become more needy & may want others to listen to you even more. As you grow up the need to be heard just remains. You may even end up talking more.
When you struggled or failed for the first time could impact you a lot. Failure can impact children deeply. You may think about failure each time you begin something new. If someone troubled you or your family as a child may leave a deep impact. Sometimes it may be difficult to overcome these bad memories.
Subconsciously these memories remain in our minds & can come back or get triggered when something similar begins to happen.
There are several ways to remove bad memories 1. Writing about your story is the simplest way to overcome them. 2. Another way is programming your mind to forget it. 3. Another way is healing yourself. Speaking to the person involved can help as well. 4. Another way is going back to that moment & taking that action you always wanted to take but never did. 5. Helping someone going through the same could be another way to help yourself
What about you? What is the memory you still remember?
