3. Speak again after a few days
4. Try to resolve the conflict
I have gone through this a few times. Healthy discussions are good but arguments may not.
In my early career I would start looking for a job.
That seemed the easiest way out, probably not the best way though.
By my mid career I would avoid further arguments and allow things to go back to normal. But do they really go back to normal.
Speaking again after a few days would be another way. But then the problem remains.
Resolving the conflict is probably the best way. But the toughest way. This is how we should ideally respond.
