In all my jobs I experienced all of these.
I performed my best when I enjoyed what I did. But I have begun to realise that high performers are those who do the boring things well, we cannot like everything we do.
I also performed well when there was a good work culture. But then I realised we learn more when we are in more tough environments.
I also enjoyed work & did well when I had a supportive manager. But I realised that you need tough managers to learn & grow.
Work was good when it was challenging. But over time I realised that it is what we do in our routine daily tasks that determines our success. Yes small things matter.
