Navjot Sigh Sidhu has remained a highly controversial politician all along for what he did and said. He is perceived as the villain that led unsuspecting Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to commit mistakes after mistakes ultimately resulting in the complete decimation of the Congress in Punjab. Had Captain Amarinder Singh been left alone, he would’ve led the party return to power. He had even appointed Prashant Kishor to do the job. Apart from this, he was humiliated in his own Amritsar East seat by AAP's Jeevan Jyot Kaur. He has now become jobless, in stead of becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab. What will he do now ?
There are suggestionsIn memes and tweets in social media that he should reclaim his seat in Kapil Sharma comedy show where he was earlier replaced by Archana Puran Singh. But that seems highly unlikely. He was probably thrown out of of that chair in a huge controversy, when he made certain disparaging comments about Pulwama Terror attack, that claimed the lives of 40 Jawans. Apart from the comments, he refused to condemn the Pakistan and terror. Therefore, it may not be easy for Sidhu to get that job back. So what next ?
He will try to get in to AAP, failing he will try to enter the BJP, where he started his political journey. However, my suggestion is, he should introspect, dwell over his Karma over the past several years including hugging Pak Army Chief and turn a new leaf, write a book, mentor a cricket training school or whatever creative work he can take interest in. In stead of doing negative work, he needs to direct his energy to positive field.
