Early in my career I struggled with managing my role.
By mid career I struggled with managing self. This is more about knowing yourself & changing yourself fast enough. Hence I also struggled with managing others. If we cant manage our self we will struggle with managing others.
At the senior level I struggled with managing my manager.
But out of all these I guess the most difficult is managing self. Most of the time that is where the problem really lies. Or shall we say that is where the solution lies to solving all our problems.
Managing self is also the toughest of them all. Most of the time we don't know our struggles & challenges well enough. Poor Self awareness is the reason for this.
