Somalia currency has become so worthless, that to buy a simple Smartphone you have to carry the money in a wheelbarrow 🤔
The currency is so devalued that people wander the markets with wads of paper money in their bags. Wheelbarrows, trolleys are often used to move piles of banknotes from one street to another. Women have to carry the money in wheelbarrows to do the market/ shopping. In this country transporting money is more difficult than exchange/ transfer of goods.
Gradually, Somali language and Shillings are disappearing. English is becoming a formal language in Somalia. And US Dollar is becoming the local currency.
